COMPOSITION:

1 g of the pharmaceutical product contains, mg:

Petrolatum                900.0

 

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES:

The pharmaceutical product has an antiseptic, adsorbent, astringent and drying effect. When the ointment comes into contact with the affected skin surface, albuminates are formed and proteins are denatured, exudation is reduced, leading to elimination of inflammation, therefore wound healing is accelerated. Ointment is a physical barrier against irritants.

 

METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:

Externally for treatment of cattle, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs and cats with skin diseases (burns, aseptic and weeping wounds, dermatitis, furunculosis, pyoderma, eczema, bedsores).

 

DOSAGE:

Externally. Apply a thin layer of ointment to the affected skin area​​ 1-2 times a day. Duration of treatment depends on nature and symptoms of the disease. It can last for 1 month. Amount of ointment for a single application depends on size of the affected skin area. Ointment bandages can be used for treatment of burns. Before application of the ointment to the affected skin area​​, the required area should be cleaned of dirt.

 

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Do not use in case of acute purulent skin diseases, as well as in case of increased individual sensitivity (allergy) to the medicine.

STORAGE: Dry, dark, well-ventilated room on shelves at a temperature of 2°C – 20°C.

Do not store together with food.

SHELF LIFE: 2 years.
