Detailed description
For the treatment of bees from foulbrood
Composition: Strips measuring 150X25X2.5 mm containing oxytetracycline hydrochloride and ascorbic acid.
Pharmacological action: The active ingredients of the drug destroy diseases caused by bee foulbrood. It also inhibits anaerobic bacteria and microbial cell protein synthesis.
Dosage and instructions for use: The drug is used in the spring, before the main honey collection and in the summer after honey is pumped out. Before treatment, infected bee colonies are transplanted into clean, disinfected hives and the queen bees are replaced with healthy fertilized bees. Oxybactocidal strips are suspended vertically in the street with the help of special brackets, between frames with brood at the rate of 1 strip per 6 nesting frames occupied by bees. The treatment is carried out 2-3 times with an interval of 6-7 days. Simultaneously with the treatment of families, disinfection of hives, combs and working equipment is carried out according to the instructions for disinfection in apiaries. Dead bees and beehive debris are burned. Processing of bee colonies is stopped 2 weeks before the honey collection in order to avoid getting the drug into marketable honey.
Packing: Hermetically packed by 10 plates in foil polyethylene bags.
Storage conditions: Store in a dry place, out of reach of children, at a temperature of 50+250C.
Shelf life: 2 years.
