Inactivated vaccine against PRRS virus infection containing European and American strains.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Composition:<\/strong>
\nInactivated PRRS virus
\nPRRS\/EU strain min. 105.1 TCID50, RP \u2265 1
\nPRRS\/US strain min. 105.1 TCID50; RP \u2265 1<\/p>\n

TCID50 = 50 % infectious dose for tissue culture, the virus titre determined within in-process control before inactivation
\nRP = Relative potency (ELISA test) is expressed by comparing the level of antibodies in the serum of calves with the level of antibodies in the reference serum obtained after vaccination with a vaccine batch that passed the challenge test in the target animals.<\/p>\n

Indication:<\/strong>
\nActive immunization of gilts and sows to reduce reproductive disorders and viremia caused by Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome virus (European and American type).<\/p>\n

The onset of immunity was demonstrated by challenge 3 weeks after the primary vaccination (i.e. after the administration of three doses).<\/p>\n

The duration of immunity demonstrated by challenge was 6 months.<\/p>\n

Dosage, application and vaccination scheme:<\/strong>
\nIntramuscularly, preferably in the paraauricular region, in a dose of 2 ml, before mating from 6 months of age of gilts and sows.<\/p>\n

Basic vaccination:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gilts – primary vaccination 2 x 1 dose at an interval of 2 – 3 weeks, before mating, the third dose on Day 60 – 70 of gestation following the primary vaccination.<\/p>\n

Sows – primary vaccination 2 x 1 dose at an interval of 2 – 3 weeks, before mating, blanket vaccination of sows in the herd in the shortest possible time interval is recommended, the third dose on Day 60 – 70 of gestation following the primary vaccination.<\/p>\n

Revaccination: application of 1 dose (2 ml) on Day 60 – 70 in each pregnancy following the basic vaccination.<\/p>\n

The extent of immunization is at the consider of the veterinarian and is also dependent on the particular epizootic situation.<\/p>\n

Storage:<\/strong>
\nStore in a refrigerator (2\u00b0C – 8\u00b0C).
\nDo not freeze.
\nProtect from light.
\nStore in a dry place.<\/p>\n

Withdrawal period:<\/strong>
\nWithout withdrawal periods.<\/p>\n

Shelf life:<\/strong>
\nShelf-life of the veterinary medicinal product as packaged for sale: 18 months.
\nShelf life after first opening the immediate packaging: 10 hours.<\/p>\n
