DESCRIPTION<\/b><\/p>\n
Albendazole is a broad-spectrum dewormer which belongs to the group of<\/p>\n
Benzimidazole-derivatives. It is active against gastrointestinal roundworms,<\/p>\n
lungworms and tapeworms in cattle, sheep and goats. Worminex 10%<\/p>\n
Liquid is also active against eggs of roundworms and liver flukes (not<\/p>\n
against immature liver flukes).<\/p>\n
INDICATIONS<\/b><\/p>\n
Worminex 10% Liquid is indicated for prophylaxis and treatment of worm infections in cattle, calves, sheep and goats<\/p>\n
like:<\/p>\n
Gastrointestinal worms : Bunostomum, Cooperia, Chabertia, Haemonchus, Nematodirus, Oesophagostomum,<\/p>\n
Ostertagia, Strongyloides and Trichostrongylus spp.<\/p>\n
Liver fluke infestations : Adult Fasciola hepatica.<\/p>\n
Lungworms : Dictyocaulus viviparus and D. filaria.<\/p>\n
Tapeworms : Monieza spp.<\/p>\n
CONTRA-INDICATIONS<\/b><\/p>\n
Do not administer in the first 45 days of gestation.<\/p>\n
SIDE-EFFECTS<\/b><\/p>\n
Hypersensitivity reactions.<\/p>\n
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION<\/b><\/p>\n
For oral administration.<\/p>\n
Goats and sheep : 1 ml per 20 kg bodyweight.<\/p>\n
For liver fluke : 1 ml per 10 kg bodyweight.<\/p>\n
Cattle and calves : 1 ml per 12 kg bodyweight.<\/p>\n
For liver fluke : 1 ml per 10 kg bodyweight.<\/p>\n
In case of heavy infestation or re-infection repeat after 3 \u2013 4 weeks.<\/p>\n
Medicated water should be used within 24 hours.<\/p>\n
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD<\/b><\/p>\n
Meat : 12 days<\/p>\n
Milk : 4 days<\/p>\n
STORAGE<\/b><\/p>\n
Store in a dry, dark place between 2\u00b0C and 25\u00b0C.<\/p>\n
Store in closed packing.<\/p>\n
