COMPOSITON: Vetbicin-5 contains a mixture of two antibiotics as active ingredients:
Benzylpenicillin benzathine – 1,200,000 IU and benzylpenicillin procaine – 300,000 IU.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES: Vetbicin-5 is a complex antibacterial pharmaceutical product containing two biosynthetic penicillins, active against gram-positive microorganisms, including Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus pheumoniae, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, anaerobic spore-forming rods, Bacillus anthracis and gram-negative microorganisms, including against Neisseria meningitides, Actinomyces israelii, as well as Treponema spp.
METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE: Vetbicin-5 is prescribed to animals, including poultry, for treatment of diseases of bacterial etiology caused by microorganisms sensitive to benzylpenicillin.
Before use, perforate the cap and stopper of Vetbicin-5 bottle with a needle and add 5-6 ml of water for injection (or 0.9% sterile sodium chloride solution or 1-2% sterile procaine solution). Shake the bottle well until a homogeneous suspension is formed, which should be immediately injected deep into the animal’s muscle. Obtained suspension is administered to animals by single intramuscular injection in the following doses:

If necessary, Vetbicin-5 must be administered again after 7-10 days.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Administration of the medicine is contraindicated in cases of increased individual sensitivity of animals to penicillin antibiotics and procaine.
SIDE EFFECTS: After taking the medicine according to the instructions, side effects are not generally recorded.
WAITING PERIOD: Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed no earlier than 21 days after the last administration of the medicine.
Milk from animals, obtained during treatment and for 14 days after the last administration of the medicine, is forbidden to be used for food purposes.
SPECIAL STORAGEPRECAUTIONS: The medicine is stored in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight, at a temperature of 0-250C.
SHELF LIFE: 3 years.
PRESENTATION: 1,500,000 IU packed in neutral glass bottles with a capacity of 10 ml.
